Telugu finished last season with a 12-10 record. The Titans stumbled their way through the back half of their season, losing six of their last ten matches. Ultimately, they wound up in seventh place, missing the playoffs by one spot. Telugu has already suffered a loss this season, falling 38-25 to the Tamil Thalaivas earlier this week.
UP ended the 2024 regular season with a 13-6 record and finished third in the overall standings. The Yoddhas charged through the back half of the year winning four in a row and were unbeaten in their final nine. They took down the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the first round of the playoffs, but could not get past the Haryana Steelers to make it to the finals.

These teams squared off twice last season with the Yoddhas coming away with the victory both times. In fact, Telugu has claimed only one win against UP in their last five head-to-head meetings.
