Los Angeles Angels vs Houston Astros
Start Time: 7:10 PM EST
There aren’t many good lines in baseball tomorrow, so I’m settling for one that is a bit higher than I would prefer for a best bet. Additionally, I believe this is the first time one of my plays featured the Houston Astros playing at home, as I don’t recall ever typing ‘Daikin Park’ before.
While this line isn’t the best, it is still good value for what this matchup is, which is the worst team in the American League West, the Los Angeles Angels, visiting the top team in the division, the Astros. It doesn’t even matter that Houston is sending Spencer Arrighetti and is 1-5 record, 6.21 ERA, and 1.52 WHIP to the mound to start tomorrow, because the visitors are countering with Kyle Hendricks, who has pitched almost as poorly this season.
The much better team, who is very good at home (40-28), up against a very bad team, who is very bad on the road (28-36) – the Houston Astros on the moneyline is my best bet for Saturday.
