We’ve got three WNBA games on the slate tomorrow, and I need to go on a heater to end the month, so let’s get it. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Thursday, August 28th.
WNBA Predictions & Preview For Thursday, August 28th
Seattle Storm vs Minnesota Lynx
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
Facing the 30-7 Minnesota Lynx at any location is a daunting task this season, but facing them on their home floor at the Target Center is especially treacherous. Even with their do-it-all superstar Napheesa Collier missing 10 games recently, the Lynx are 18-1 at home.
And I expect that to increase to 19-1 tomorrow night as the Seattle Storm make their way to town. The Storm just got stomped by the Indiana Fever (minus Caitlin Clark) by 20 in their last game. My line is Minnesota -11.5
Best Bet: Minnesota -9 (-110)
Chicago Sky vs Phoenix Mercury
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
We go from the best in the league to the worst – the basement – where the Chicago Sky now find themselves after a hot streak has pulled the Connecticut Sun up to even with them. The Sky are bad at home and bad on the road.
And the road is where they find themselves tomorrow night as they visit the Phoenix Mercury. I’ve got this game lined up as Phoenix -16.5, so the home team should cover the spread for us.
Best Bet: Phoenix -11.5 (-110)
Overall Record: 55-62 (47%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): -($1,136.97)
Return on Investment: -10%
