Allow us to introduce our Degens Only Play of the Day, a pick so obscure, it will have you friends questioning your sanity.
Every day, we scour sportsbooks and DFS sites for that one special play off the beaten path. Today, we turn our attention to the 2025 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship. Here we have a pair of rival parishioners squaring off to improve their record in group play.

Ballybrown has drawn even over the first two games of group play and are carrying a 1-1 record into this match. They started the round with a 5-18 – 1-23 win over Ahane. However, they struggled to find any offense in their second match losing 0-21 – 1-10 to Na Piarsaigh who are currently in third place on the Group 1 table.
Patrickswell has yet to register a victory so far in group play. They are 0-2 and in danger of regulation. However, they have opened up their round by playing the top two teams on the table. The Well gave Kilmallock a run for their money but ultimately losing 0-23 – 0-18 in their second match.

These Limerick rivals last met in 2023 with Patrickswell beating their fellow parishioners 4-17 – 1-17 in the quarter-finals. Patrickswell has beaten Ballybrown in their last three meetings going back to 2016. On top of that, Patrickswell has the most recent title between the two taking home the 2019 championship.
