I’m going to assume I hit my WNBA bet on Wednesday night, since that game hasn’t even tipped off as of me writing this, and I’m on a nice roll heading into tomorrow’s four-game WNBA slate. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Thursday, August 21st.

Chicago Sky vs New York Liberty

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

For the length of the season, the Connecticut Sun have been by themselves in the basement of the WNBA, with no team even close to being as rotten as they are. But they have company now – the Chicago Sky have entered the chat.

The Sky have lost five straight games and are 1-13(!!) over their last 14 games. That’ll sink you in the standings pretty damn quick. My line is New York -19, so the Liberty will cover, despite still missing Breanna Stewart.

Minnesota Lynx vs Atlanta Dream

Start Time: 7:30 PM EST

In Stewart’s absence, the Atlanta Dream has snuck ahead of the Liberty and into second spot in the league standings. The only team ahead of them will be in town on Thursday night – the Minnesota Lynx.

Lynx superstar Napheesa Collier is still expected to be sidelined tomorrow, which obviously is good news for the Dream. My line for tomorrow’s game is basically a pick ’em, so the Dream plus the points is my play.
