Seattle Mariners vs Philadelphia Phillies

The Seattle Mariners and the Philadelphia Phillies wrap up their three-game series tomorrow in The City of Brotherly Love, with the home team taking the first two games in the series. It hasn’t been a fun run through the National League West for the Mariners, as they’ve now lost four straight games (two to the New York Mets, two to the Phillies).
And I expect at least one Philly to have a good day at the plate tomorrow afternoon against Seattle – and it may be a surprising choice. It would be the Phillies’ left fielder, Max Kepler. Why him? Well, he did get two hits against the Mariners on Tuesday night and has nine hits over his last seven games.
But the main reason is that Kepler feasts off tomorrow’s starting pitcher, Luis Castillo. The 32-year-old has a career slash of .375/.412/.688 in 17 plate appearances against the righty. I’m expecting Kepler to touch some bases on Wednesday.
