Being a degen is a core principle of our SGPN family. Well, what’s more degen than sweating out how many 180s will be thrown in a darts match? Or how many kills a player will get in Call of Duty? Allow us to introduce our Degens Only Play of the Day, a pick so obscure, it will have your friends questioning your sanity.
Every day, we scour sportsbooks and DFS sites for that one special play off the beaten path. Today, we turn our attention to the Pro Motocross Championship Series as they head to Unadilla MX in New York. Here, we have an Underdog Fantasy play that is essentially predicting the winner of the 450 class.
Pro Motocross Underdog Fantasy Pick: Degens Only Play of the Day
Jet Lawrence Higher Than 1.5 Finishing Position
Saturday, August 15th, 12:00pm ET
Lawrence comes to Unadilla as the points leader in the 450 standings, almost 50 points above his older brother Hunter. The Aussie has won 8 of his 11 races this season between both Supercross and Motocross. Earlier this year, he ripped off seven wins in a row in Motocross. Lawrence has failed to win only three of his nine races in the 450 class this season. He’s coming off of his worst two-race stretch all year having finished 2nd in Washougal and 6th at Ironman.
The young Australian’s resume includes a perfect rookie season in which he won all 22 motos. He claimed the AMA Pro Motocross 450 Class Championship in the process. On top of that, the 22-year old has won the 250 class championship twice.

This weekend he is taking on a track in which he has already taken home a checkered flag. Lawrence piloted his Honda across the finish line in first place in both motos in 2023 earning him the overall win on the day. We fully expect him to bounce back from his last two outings and bring home another victory here.
Good luck on this and all of your plays today. We’ll be back with another Degens Only Play of the Day tomorrow. While you’re here, check out some of my other contributions to the SGPN.
