Underdog Fantasy – DFS Picks for August 15
Noah Cameron – Higher than 4.5 Strikeouts
Noah Cameron has been one of my favorite surprises this year. He’s not a particularly big strikeout guy, and he has failed to meet this number in two in a row. However, in the five games prior, he had at least five strikeouts in all of them. He averaged 6.6 in the month of July and a date with the White Sox should help him get back to those kinds of numbers.
Cameron Brink – Lower than 6.5 Points
From one Cameron to another – except this time, we’re looking for Cameron to fail to hit the projection. Although her comeback story is beautiful, she hasn’t scored more than five points this season. Even worse, she played just five minutes in her last game. It’d be a huge jump for her to work her way up to seven points, and her minutes just don’t justify the trust in that.
Tommy Fleetwood – Lower than 2.5 Bogeys or Worse
On Thursday, we were all over the lower than on Tommy Fleetwood’s round score. The projection was set at 68.5 and all he did was shoot a 65 and come out in second. He’s been playing out of his mind for the last couple weeks and seems to be narrowing in on a win finally. In round one he didn’t have a single hole that he played over par. He looks to build on that Friday. While I don’t expect him to be flawless again, this projection gives him plenty of wiggle room.
