Philadelphia Phillies vs Cincinnati Reds

The Cincinnati Reds are having a very strong first season with Terry Francona at the helm, so much so that they have a 31% chance of seeing their first postseason action since 2020. But one area in which they need some improvement is the strikeout rate of their batters.
The Reds strike out 8.63 times per game, which ranks them near the bottom of the majors. But tomorrow is not the day to expect Cincinnati to take a step in improving those numbers. That’s because the visiting Philadelphia Phillies send lefty Cristopher Sanchez to the mound, he of the 151 strikeouts this season, 10th highest in the majors.
Sanchez has punched out at least six hitters in back-to-back games and five of his last six. This prop play is a little more chalky than I prefer, but I’m still going in on it for Wednesday.
