WNBA Predictions & Preview For Sunday, August 10th

My WNBA heater has finally stopped, as I took it on the chin on Saturday on both of my plays. But I still have a nice bankroll in August to play with. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Sunday, August 10th.

WNBA Predictions & Preview For Sunday, August 10th

Minnesota Lynx vs New York Liberty

Start Time: 12:30 PM EST

The premier game on the slate tomorrow should have been a rematch of last year’s WNBA Finals, as the Minnesota Lynx visit the defending champion New York Liberty. Unfortunately, the best players on each team, the Lynx’s Napheesa Collier and the Liberty’s Breanna Stewart, will be on the sidelines in street clothes.

Yet, both teams have kept on winning despite their superstar’s absence. My line for tomrorow is Minnesota -0.5, so if the loss of Stewart comes close to negating the loss of Collier, the Lynx should cover for us.

Best Bet: Minnesota +4.5 (-112)

Seattle Storm vs Los Angeles Sparks

Start Time: 8:00 PM EST

The Los Angeles Sparks continue to be a better road team than a home one, but they are starting to turn that around, winning two straight and four of five at crypto.com Arena. And, lucky for them, the struggling Seattle Storm are in town tomorrow.

The Storm have lost four straight games, including a double-overtime one to the Sparks. My line for Sunday is Seattle -1.5, so the home team plus the points is the play.

Best Bet: Los Angeles +3.5 (-115)
