New York Mets vs Milwaukee Brewers
Start Time: 8:10 PM EST
A rematch of one of last year’s National League Wild Card Series goes down tomorrow in Brew City, with the Milwaukee Brewers trying to avenge their elimination at the hands of the New York Mets last season. So far this season in head-to-head action, the Mets are getting the best of the Brewers once again, leading the season series 2-1.
However, at the current moment, these are two teams headed in opposite directions. Blazing hot play has Milwaukee at the top of the standings in the majors, as they’ve reeled off runs of 9-1, 16-4, and 23-7 over their past 10, 20, and 30 games, respectively.
The Mets, meanwhile, have lost four straight and only have two wins in their last 10. And Juan Soto continues to have the worst season of his career (which is still a great season for any other player).
In what should be a good pitching duel (Kodai Senga vs Brandon Woodroof), the home team gets my money.
