Underdog Fantasy – DFS Picks for August 3
Bryce Harper – Higher than 8.5 Fantasy Points
To start off the week right, I like Harper to have a big night on Sunday Night Baseball. For one, he’s coming off a huge game to start the weekend where he had three hits, with one of them being a dinger. He also posted a pair of RBI and a pair of runs as well. To make matters even better, he gets a familiar foe in former divisional opponent, Charlie Morton. In his career, he’s 12-for-29 (.414) against Morton with three of those hits going for extra bases. He should be able to find ways to get on the board in this one.
Lucas Giolito – Higher than 4.5 Strikeouts
Sure, maybe Giolito hasn’t lived up to what the Red Sox were hoping for this season. However, he has been on a hot streak lately. In fact, he’s had at least five strikeouts in seven of his last eight fights. He’s also been hot in his last few starts against the Astros. In his last six starts against the squad, he has posted five or more strikeouts in five of them. Even with the Astros being a tough team to fan, I like Giolito finds five for us here.
Kamilla Cardoso – Higher than 10.5 rebounds
Cardoso has been a rebounding machine for the Sky this year. She has had double digit rebounds in each of her last six games. She’s gone all the way up to 11 in four of those six games. The added bonus for her stat line in this one is the absense of Angel Reese. She’s out again with back issues, and that opens things up down low for Cardoso. Add in that the Mercury are in the bottom half of the league when it comes to field goal percentage and there should be plenty of chances to pull down boards here.
