Seattle Storm vs Connecticut Sun

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

The worst team in the WNBA, the Connecticut Sun, is one of the reasons I went winless on Sunday, as they improbably smoked the Golden State Valkyries by 31 points. Now they host the Seattle Storm on Monday, so this is the second night of a back-to-back for the Sun.

I don’t see the Sun pulling off two straight wins – they’ve got four wins total on the season, after all. Seattle -14.5 is my line, so the Storm is the play on the spread.

Best Bet: Seattle -11.5 (-110)

New York Liberty vs Dallas Wings

Start Time: 8:00 PM EST

Which brings us to the other team that caused me to lose money on Sunday, the Dallas Wings, who rested their star rookie Paige Bueckers and promptly lost by 26 points to the Las Vegas Aces. Bueckers will be back tomorrow to face the New York Liberty, who will be without superstar Breanna Stewart due to a leg injury.

Which makes this game a difficult one to handicap. With Stewart in action, my line would be New York -10. Let’s roll the dice on them stepping up in her absence.
