Baltimore Orioles vs Cleveland Guardians
Start Time: 1:10 PM EST
The last time the Baltimore Orioles and the Cleveland Guardians will face each other, outside of the playoffs (which neither is making), is tomorrow at Cleveland. And the Guardians may be in position to sweep the season series (they won the first two games of the series and are leading Game 3 as of this writing).
The Orioles are having a miserable season, with the advanced stats ranking them near the bottom of the majors. The Guardians are mediocre this year, but mediocre is a step up from what the Orioles are.
Plus, Baltimore will be running ‘Uncle’ Charlie Morton out to the mound to start on Thursday. The 41-year-old is fresh off giving up seven runs in 5.1 innings in his last start. Cleveland’s starter tomorrow, Logan Allen, is having a much better season.
