Detroit Tigers vs Pittsburgh Pirates

This may be an interleague series, but the American League’s Detroit Tigers and the National League’s Pittsburgh Pirates have already seen each other plenty this season, with four matchups in the books before tomorrow’s game (the Tigers lead the season series 2-1 heading into action on Monday night).
While the Pirates are rotten as usual, with only 39 wins in their first 100 games, the Tigers remain at or near the top of the majors. And that includes on the road, where they are 28-22 as of this writing, the top mark in the majors.
Even taking into account the Pirates’ home field advantage playing in Pittsburgh (worth 0.39 runs per game, second-best all-time in the majors), the Tigers still show up as the play tomorrow, projected to be about a run better than the Pirates. And, as an added bonus, we’re getting Detroit for a decent price on the moneyline on Tuesday.
