The UFC is in Music City tomorrow night – Nashville, Tennessee’s Bridgestone Arena – for UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs Teixeira. It’s a heavyweight-heavy fight card, including the main event where longtime UFC fighter Derrick Lewis faces relative newcomer Tallison Teixeira.
While Teixeira is undefeated, he’s only fought eight times and has never faced someone with the experience and power that Lewis still has despite his advanced age. And if you’re going for the live dog in the main event – Lewis – as I am, you may as well go all out and take him via knockout. No one hits as hard as Lewis, and all it takes is one shot to end the fight. Let’s bet on old man strength to prevail over youth.
