Big changes in Seattle as they head into their second year with Head Coach Mike Macdonald. Geno Smith is now in Vegas, and DK Metcalf is playing with Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh. Sam Darnold comes in to take over as the new starting quarterback, but the team also grabbed Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe in the third round of the NFL Draft.
2025 NFL Best Bets: Seattle Seahawks
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 950.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Smith-Njigba came into the league with big expectations but let down as a rookie. He popped off last year going for 1,130 yards. Even with a change at quarterback, we’ve now seen what he’s capable of, and I expect more of the same.
Seahawks Under 7.5 Wins (+140)
Even though they got to 10 wins in Macdonald’s first year, I don’t see that happening again. Can Sam Darnold really pull another season like last year out of his hat? Until I see it again I won’t believe it.
Sam Darnold Under 3450.5 Passing Yards (-120)
Only twice in his career has Darnold hit 3,000 yards. We’ve seen this song and dance too many times. A great year in a perfect situation leads to a big contract and disappointment. That’s how I see this one going.
