While the UFC continues to be the king when it comes to MMA and gambling, there is more MMA than ever to bet on now. Promotions all over the world as well as domestic ones are showing up in sportsbooks. The advantage here is that the data is usually quite a bit less sharp than when you’re making MMA predictions for the UFC. So we’ve decided to dig into some each week to get you started on your regional MMA journey. This week we head overseas for PFL MENA 2 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for our regional MMA pick.

MMA Regional Pick of the Week: PFL MENA 2
PFL MENA Bantamweight Fight: Moktar Benkaci vs Marcel Adur
Card Start Time: Friday (7/4), 12:00pm EST (PFL App)
This Friday’s PFL MENA 2 fight card is filled with a ton of chalk. There is even one fight where the books are posting a -10000 favorite. However, we’ve found a fight where there still appears to be some value.
In the bantamweight tournament, Moktar Benkaci looks to advance to the semifinals against Marcel Adur. I like his chances here for a number of reasons. The biggest of those is the striking realm in this fight. Benkaci is quick to his target with straight punches. On the other side, we have Adur who throws wildly and without proper fundementals.
The pressure is another aspect of this fight. Adur has had issues with backing up and getting stuck against the cage. The exact opposite is true of Benkaci, who has been able to pressure his opponents well – which includes a high level of opponent.
Expect Benkaci to back him up and pick him apart in this one.
