The NFL season is quickly approaching! Mandatory Mini Camps are here, and the Hall-of-Fame game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Detroit Lions takes place at the end of the month. We’re taking a look at all 32 NFL teams and our best bets for each prior to the 2025 season kicking off. The San Francisco 49ers are up next, so let’s take a look at this edition of the 2025 NFL Best Bets: San Francisco 49ers.
There’s been a lot of change in San Francisco this offseason, but Kyle Shanahan is back for his ninth season as the team’s Head Coach. Brock Purdy signed a 5-year, $265 million contract extension. Christian McCaffrey should be back and injury-free this year. Debo Samuel has moved on and resides with the Commanders for this season.
2025 NFL Best Bets: San Francisco 49ers
George Kittle Over 900.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
With Samuel out of town, it opens up a lot for Kittle. He’s the trusty, reliable veteran that Brock Purdy knows will be there when he needs him. Kittle has surpassed this number two years in a row and three of the last four seasons. Expect him to have a bigger role this year and be a 1,000-yard guy yet again.
2025 NFL Best Bets: San Francisco 49ers
Christian McCaffrey to Have 1,000+ Rushing Yards (+110)
It’s crazy to me that this is available at plus money. Throw out last year, if he’s healthy this year, he’ll fly past that number like he did in 2023 in San Francisco and 2022 with both Carolina and San Francisco. If he’s on the field, he’s too dangerous a player not to get 1,000 yards. I’ll bet on his health in 2025.
49ers to Start 3-0 in the Regular Season (+225)
The 49ers boast the easiest schedule in the league in 2025. It starts off with Sam Darnold-led Seahawks and Tyler Shough-led Saints. Both should be easy wins, which now gives you the game against the Cardinals at +225 on the Moneyline. That game may be a toss-up, but the Moneyline for Week 3 currently has them as -175 favorites at home.
