WNBA Predictions & Preview For Wednesday, June 25th

I’ve hit three straight WNBA bets, so things are starting to turn around as I predicted they would. But there’s still work to be done to dig out of my early-season hole. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Wednesday, June 25th.

WNBA Predictions & Preview For Wednesday, June 25th

New York Liberty vs Golden State Valkyries

Start Time – 10:00 PM EST

This is another one of those games where even before looking at the line, I knew it would be playable for me. Because the Golden State Valkyries are still being treated like a normal expansion team, while they have shown to be at the very least an average WNBA team.

Plus, the Valkyries are especially tough in the Chase Center, going 5-2 at home this season. With the New York Liberty having a banged-up roster, including Sabrina Ionescu, who is still expected to play, I have to back the home team here. My line is New York -5.5.

Best Bet: Golden State +8.5 (-110)

Connecticut Sun vs Las Vegas Aces

Start Time – 10:00 PM EST

One team that is not an average WNBA squad is the Connecticut Sun, who, at 2-12, are ranked as the worst team in the league according to advanced stats. And now they’ll be without standout guard Marina Mabrey for up to a month with a knee injury.

However, the Las Vegas Aces still aren’t playing up to their potential this season. While I think they’ll win with ease, I only have this game lined up as Las Vegas -16.5, so the Sun get the money.

Best Bet: Connecticut +18 (-110)

Overall Record: 13-16 (45%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): -($396.05)
Return on Investment: -14%
