The NFL season is quickly approaching! Mandatory Mini Camps are here, and the Hall-of-Fame game between the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears takes place at the end of next month. We’re taking a look at all 32 NFL teams and our best bets for each prior to the 2025 season kicking off. The Carolina Panthers are up next, so let’s take a look at this edition of the 2025 NFL Best Bets: Carolina Panthers.
Dave Canales enters his second season as the Head Coach of the Carolina Panthers. He inherited a team that seemed to have bigger problems than maybe they really did. Bryce Young impressed, at least enough to get another year as the starting quarterback. Linebacker Shaq Thompson was the team’s biggest loss in the offseason. They signed Christian Rozeboom to replace him. The team decided to give Young more support by adding Tetairoa McMillan in the draft from the University of Arizona at pick #8. The 6-4 Wide Receiver gives Young a big target down the field.
2025 NFL Best Bets: Carolina Panthers
Tetairoa McMillan Over 4.5 Receiving Touchdowns (-120)
McMillian is a big target in a wide receiver-needy offense. When the team gets in the red zone, he’s going to be one of the main, if not the main target for Young.
Panthers Over 6.5 Wins (-125)
It’s a small goal for the team that won five games in 2024. Just improve by two wins. If they don’t, it may be time to tear it all back down again. The Panthers have the seventh-easiest strength of schedule in the league.
Chuba Hubbard Over 950.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Improved offense should mean improved rushing game, and all signs point to it still being Hubbard’s backfield. He went for almost 1,200 yards last year and 902 in the Panthers’ horrid 2023 season.
