The UFC has just started a run of seven straight events outside of the UFC Apex, which means seven straight events with good fight lineups. That includes this coming Saturday in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. For my MMA Prop Play of the Week: UFC Atlanta, I’m in on a prop play on an underdog fighting on the prelims. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

UFC Fight Night: Usman vs Buckley (aka UFC Atlanta)
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST – (ESPN/ESPN+)
The prelim fight in question would be a welterweight one between Phil Rowe and Ange Loosa. Neither guy has had much success in the UFC, with both of them carrying a .500 record. And Rowe has lost three straight and hasn’t fought in a year.
However….I’m still taking Rowe in this fight. He’s going to be the better striker, and he has a six-inch reach advantage over Loosa. And if you’re taking Rowe to win a fight, you may as well take him winning inside the distance, since he has won all 10 of his pro fights via finish (six knockouts, four submissions).
