The baseball diamond continues to be a lucrative spot to mine for winning prop plays (see what I did there?!). So I’m heading back there tomorrow for another winning prop play. Detroit Tigers vs Baltimore Orioles
Start Time: 6:35 PM EST
Unintentionally, my prop play for Wednesday comes from the same game as my best bet, which sees the Detroit Tigers visiting the Baltimore Orioles for Game 2 of their three-game series, the last time these two teams will face each other this season (unless the Orioles somehow make the playoffs).
While I’m picking the Tigers to prevail tomorrow, I expect at least one hitter on the Orioles to have a good day on Wednesday – Ryan O’Hearn. The outfielder/first baseman/DH is having a career season for Baltimore, with a .897 OPS and a 158 OPS+. But that isn’t what originally made him my target for a prop play on Wednesday.
The real reason is O’Hearn has the number of Detroit’s starter tomorrow, Casey Mize, slashing .546/.583/1.091 over 11 career at-bats against Mize. I see O’Hearn getting at least two bases for us on Wednesday.
