MMA Regional Pick of the Week: BRAVE CF 96
BRAVE CF Heavyweight Fight: Miha Frlic vs Shah Kamali
Card Start Time: Saturday (6/7), 3:00pm EST (Internet PPV)
One of my favorite values on the regional scene this weekend is a heavyweight underdog from the fights out in Slovenia.
Shah Kamali has shown a lot of reasons to be high on him. The 4-0 prospect not only it putting people away, but is doing so with some attributes you rarely see from the big boys. He had thudding leg kicks and some really nice speed on the feet. Those skills have brough him first round finishes in all four of those fights.
While his opponent has shown some speed two, Miha Frlic has some things working against him. Firstly, he is not nearly as sound defensively. When he opens up for shots he’s right there for a counter. Additionally, he is at a huge disadvantage when it comes to height and reach.
With all of those things on our side and an underdog price tag, we have to love Kamali in this spot.
