MMA Regional Pick of the Week: RIZIN in Korea
RIZIN Bantamweight Fight: Soo Chul Kim vs Shoko Sato
Card Start Time: Saturday (5/31), 1:00am EST (Internet PPV)
If you’re ready to get up at an ungodly hour, RIZIN always delivers. They put together another nice card this weekend in their first foray into Korea. Not only does the card have a load of solid fights, but there are some great spots for bettors in there as well.
One of my favorites is the moneyline on Soo Chul Kim. Kim has faced a ridiculous level of competition in his career. He’s faced Bellator and ONE FC champions as well as a slew of UFC veterans. In all of those fights, he was game thanks to his speed on the feet and his ability to finish from anywhere.
That diversity of attack should play up against Shoko Sato. Sato tends to do well from range, but struggles when he’s crowded. That goes for on the feet or the mats.
