Florida Panthers vs Carolina Hurricanes
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
One of the teams on the brink of another trip to the Stanley Cup Finals is the Florida Panthers, winners last year and losers in the Finals the year before. The Carolina Hurricanes thwarted their attempts at a sweep by shutting the Panthers out on their home ice in Game 4, 3-0. Now the Hurricanes face another do-or-die situation in Game 5.
And I think they’re going to do rather than die. The Hurricanes are lethal on their home ice, so the Panthers winning the first two games there was an aberration. Carolina on the moneyline is the first half of our parlay.
Since I had luck with a shots on goal player prop on Tuesday, let’s go back to that well on Wednesday. Carolina’s Sebastian Aho had seven shots on net in Game 4 and has 38 in 14 playoff games. Aho over 1.5 shots is my conservative addition to this parlay.
