The NBA Playoffs stage is dark tomorrow, but that is just the calm before the storm, as the conference championships kick off later in the week (the Western Conference on Tuesday; the Eastern Conference on Wednesday). But, lucky for us, the WNBA has a game on the schedule for Monday. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Monday, May 19th.
WNBA Predictions & Preview For Monday, May 19th
Seattle Storm vs Dallas Wings
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
The 2025 WNBA season didn’t get off on the right foot for the Seattle Storm or the Dallas Wings, as both teams dropped their first games. But, on the bright side, one of them will get their first win tomorrow night in College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
It wasn’t the greatest debut for the Wings’ #1 overall draft pick, Paige Bueckers, either, in the team’s first game, as she only managed 10 points on 10 shots. So Bueckers will be aiming for a stronger second game tomorrow night when the Storm comes to town.
Despite the addition of Bueckers, the Wings are expected to lose more games than they win this season, while Seattle is projected to be in the upper mid of the league, led by veteran stars Skylar Diggins and Nneka Ogwumike.
I’m leaning towards the Storm going to 1-1 tomorrow night in Dallas, and I like them to cover the spread for us. Seattle is the play.
Best Bet: Seattle -2.5 (-115)
