We’re getting not just a Game 7, and not just a Game 7 in the NHL, but a Game 7 involving the Toronto Maple Leafs, the long-suffering franchise with millions of long-suffering fans. And they’re playing the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers, who knocked them out of the playoffs a couple of years ago.
Despite living in the Toronto area and knowing full well their history (but not being a fan of the team), I’m still betting on the Leafs to come through tomorrow on home ice. Toronto as a home dog is too good to pass on – the Leafs on the moneyline is my first half of our winning parlay.
Not only will the Leafs win tomorrow, but it’s going to be another low-scoring game as well. Two of the past three games have ended 2-0, and I think tomorrow night’s game will be a closely contested affair and a grind to score. We’re adding under 5.5 goals to our parlay.
