Winnipeg Jets vs Dallas Stars

A team can ride a hot goalie all the way to hoisting the Stanley Cup in June. But the inverse is true, also – a sieve between the pipes can totally scupper a team’s Stanley Cup chances. Unfortunately for the NHL’s best team this regular season, the Winnipeg Jets, they possess the latter.
There’s no arguing that Winnipeg’s Connor Hellebuyck was the best goalie in the league this season – he’s an MVP finalist, after all. There is also no denying that he turns into a pumpkin in the playoffs. He followed up a shutout performance in Game 2 by letting in five of the 26 shots sent his way in Game 3.
This is a career-long pattern for Hellebuyck, who’s good for about one game per series, it seems, and makes the Jets a total fade, especially on the road. Dallas on the moneyline is my best bet for tomorrow.
