The Washington Capitals let me down on Tuesday night, losing 2-1 to the Carolina Hurricanes in overtime, but they wouldn’t dare burn me twice, right?! Washington was one of the highest-scoring teams in the regular season (second behind the Tampa Bay Lightning) and one of the best on home ice. And the Hurricanes stunk away from home. Washington on the moneyline for Game 2 is the first half of our winning parlay.
Edmonton Oilers vs Vegas Golden Knights
Start Time: 9:30 PM EST
We’re parlaying Washington with the other team playing at home tomorrow night, the Vegas Golden Knights. The Edmonton Oilers did what the Oilers do, storming back from a 2-0 hole to score four unanswered goals and win Game 1 at Vegas’s T-Mobile Arena.
This Oilers’ shtick has to end eventually – they can’t keep getting into holes and successfully digging themselves out. And Vegas, like Washington, is too good at home to drop two straight. The Golden Knights on the moneyline completes our winning play.
