CFFC 141 Heavyweight Fight: Jahsua Marsh vs Vitor Resende
Card Start Time: Saturday (4/19), 7:00pm EST (UFC Fight Pass)
It’s not often that I try to get behind a fighter who is nearly at four-figures on the odds. However, Saturday night I like Jahsua Marsh despite being posted at +850.
I like the dog for two reasons in this one. The first of which is the fact that I think Resende is overrated. He is 6’9″ and has fought a ridiculously low level of competition. When he did step up in the PFL, he got worked by a fighter who was willing to brave the fight and close the distance.
He’ll get that again in Marsh. He’s fought a high level of competition in the regional scene. He’s never afraid of braving the fight to get on the inside. Plus, he’s an underrated boxer when it comes to pure technique. As a result, I think he’s worth a flyer here at a huge price.
