The NFL Draft is almost here! 256 players will be one step closer to their dreams. Maybe you’re itching to place some football bets and you haven’t gambled on the UFL yet. That’s okay, because you can bet on the NFL Draft in various ways. Let’s take a look at some of the top 2025 NFL Draft props!
2025 NFL Draft Props
Betting Ashton Jeanty
Ashton Jeanty is the top running back in the NFL draft, and there are a lot of rumors swirling about how the draft will play out regarding him. The most predicted scenario is that he’ll be drafted sixth overall by the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jeanty would perfectly fit the scheme that Pete Carroll will want to run, which focuses on running the ball. In both of my mock drafts, the seven-round early mock and the third-round mock, I have the Raiders taking Jeanty. You’ll see SGPN’s Cody Zeeb feels the same in his three-round mock.
There are two different NFL draft props you can look at for this to try and cash some money. First, betting him to land on the Raiders is currently -150. It’s juiced, but you only pay the juice if you lose, and this feels like a for sure thing.
However, if you’re not convinced, the Raiders are going to take him, the next likely falling spot is the Bears at pick number 10. You can currently get Ashton Jeanty over 9.5 at +215. You can bet both of these and still make money, especially with over 9.5 being over 2/1.
Shedeur Sanders
One of the most polarizing names in the draft is Shedeur Sanders. Fans either love him or hate him, and I have a feeling some teams are going to feel the exact same way. He’s got a big persona and personality, and some teams will hate that. Others will overlook it for the way he has ice in his veins.
Personally, I feel like he’ll be a bust. At least in his first year or two within the NFL. There’s just something about him that I don’t think will translate to the NFL. I said the same about Bryce Young, and so far, I still feel I was right about that.
However, I do think some GM is going to get wrapped up with the allure of having Sanders leading his team. I also think that GM is going to trade up to get him. His price is too juiced for the top ten, though. So, I like putting just a little bit of money on him to be a top-five pick in my NFL draft props. You can get that at +195.
Jahdae Barron
Another player I’m targeting for my NFL Draft props is cornerback Jahdae Barron. For quite a while, he was the top cornerback in the betting markets, and he’s slipped a little as of late. I’m not buying the books or bettors’ desire to take another cornerback as the top guy.
The nice thing is that there are two different ways we can make some money off this one. You can currently get Jahdae Barron under 18.5 at +150. I fully expect him to go in the top-16 picks. Another way to bet Barron is to take him as the first defensive back drafted at +130.
I like both of these picks and don’t disagree with taking them both. When he’s the first defensive back off the board, and he’s drafted in the top-18 picks, we’ll cash both bets for plus money.
Tyler Warren
There’s a lot of smoke coming recently about the Bears potentially taking Tyler Warren with pick number 10 in the draft. Sometimes, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Other times, it’s all smoke and mirrors. The Bears seem like they’re in a prime position to trade back if it makes sense to add more draft capital or another player to their team.
I know Ben Johnson loves two tight-end sets and that Tyler Warren is an excellent playmaker. However, I don’t see them using pick number ten on him. Cole Kmet and Caleb Williams have built a really nice relationship on the field, and Kmet is on the books for several more years. It doesn’t make sense to have him take a backseat to a rookie.
Therefore, with the Bears likely taking Jeanty if he’s there, or the top offensive tackle or edge rusher, I think Warren falls a little further. His perfect landing spot, for both Warren and the team, is the Colts. You can get the Colts to draft Tyler Warren at +170.
Even though it’s plus money, they’re the favorites to draft him currently. It makes complete sense, and it feels like easy money.
Chicago Bears’ First Pick
I already talked about the smoke that’s starting to come from the Bears’ first draft pick and how Tyler Warren is being associated with them. I think if Jeanty is there, they absolutely grab him to become a key piece of Ben Johnson’s offense. However, I don’t think Jeanty will be there.
The Bears did a really good job building their team in the offseason through free agency and trades. They’re at a really good spot to take the best player available or the top person on their board. Despite adding some defensive help and pass rushing help this offseason, I think they could continue to add more.
They are +250 to draft a defensive linemen or edge rusher. I’ve already bet it in my NFL draft props. This could be a bunch of different guys, depending on how the first part of the draft goes. This could also fit even if they end up trading back a little. I know Ben Johnson is an offensive guy, however, I think they get one of the top pass-rushers to pair up with Montez Sweat.
Houston Texans’ First Pick
The Texans are an interesting team to target for our NFL draft props. They’re current position of first pick is heavily favored towards the offensive line. However, they haven’t shown a real desire to try and build the offensive line in the past year or two. That was even more evident when they traded away their best tackle.
Perhaps they traded him away to draft an offensive lineman. Though it seems this team likes to make more splashy picks than that. They let Stefon Diggs walk in free agency, and they traded for Christian Kirk. Still, it seems like they want to continue to build around C.J. Stroud with weapons rather than with pass protection.
Therefore, I like sprinkling a little on the Texans’ first pick of the draft to be a wide receiver at +320. Specifically, I think they draft Matthew Golden if he’s still available.
San Francisco 49ers’ First Pick
The last team to single out in our 2025 NFL draft props is the San Francisco 49ers. They got rid of more players than they signed this year and could be looking for help in a lot of areas. However, the offensive line makes the most sense to me.
The 49ers need help along the offensive line, and their first position to draft – offensive lineman, is sitting at +150. That one feels like easy money to me.
Good luck, and check out Old-Fashioned Football tonight, where we’re giving even more draft props.
