There is college basketball happening tomorrow, so technically I could have kept my college basketball best bets going for another day. But, sadly, none of the lines were playable in my eyes. So instead we’re hitting the rink for a winning play. For my best bet for Tuesday, April 1st: NHL Predictions, we’re off to the Honda Center in Anaheim, California for a matchup between two of the league’s worst teams. Fun!

San Jose Sharks vs Anaheim Ducks
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
Neither the San Jose Sharks nor the Anaheim Ducks will be seeing playoff action once again this season – this will mark the seventh straight year of missing it for the Ducks, and the sixth straight for the Sharks. But don’t think these two teams are on equal ground (ice) this season – Anaheim has outperformed their expectations this season – while San Jose has somehow managed to underperform.
So we’ve got the much better team playing on home ice, making the Ducks the obvious pick here for me. The advanced stats I’ve crunched have them as a 1.1-goal favorite tomorrow, so it’s not quite good enough to make a play on the puck line. Anaheim on the moneyline is my best bet for Tuesday.
