The UFC’s octagon continues its world tour this month, leaving The O2 Arena in London, England this past weekend to set up shop in Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico this coming weekend. And, just like in London, we’ve got a native son and former champ in the main event. For my MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Mexico City I’ve parlayed my best bet for the day along with my MMA Gambling Podcast cohost’s best bet to hit on a winner for us!

MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Mexico City
UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs Erceg (aka UFC Mexico City)
Start Time: 4:00 PM EST (ESPN2/ESPN+)
My best bet comes from what we like to call the “curtain jerker”, aka the first fight of the night. I’m going with the younger, harder-hitting MarQuel Mederos in a lightweight fight against Austin Hubbard. He’s knocked out six of his nine pro victims and will put a beating on Hubbard standing.
Gumby’s best bet for the event also comes from the prelims – Loopy Godinez over Julia Polastri in a women’s strawweight battle. Godinez, in addition to fighting on her home soil, is an elite-level wrestler and that will be too much for the Brazilian to handle.
