The NFL Draft is less than a month away! The free agency frenzy is settled, and the NFL Combine is in the books. So, where do the picks fall now? Let’s check it out in my 2025 NFL Draft 3-round mock draft 2.0.
A lot of things could still change, and this draft is much less clear at the top than last year where we knew the top four picks for months in advance. Let’s dive in and see who your favorite team may consider drafting in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. I will not be making any trades in this mock. As of right now, every team holds their own first-round pick, and all 32 teams will have selections. Tennessee Titans, you are now on the clock.
2025 NFL Draft: 3-Round Mock Draft 2.0 – Cody Zeeb
Round 1
I’m still not sold on the Titans taking a quarterback, and I think Abdul Carter is too good to pass up if they stay at #1. Cam Ward seems to be the clear cut number one quarterback now, and in this mock Sanders drops, while running backs rise.
1 | Titans | Abdul Carter | ED | Penn State |
---|---|---|---|---|
I'm sticking to my guns here with this pick. If the Titans don’t trade, they’ll go best player available. Carter is a generational player. Maybe they can roll the dice with Will Levis for one more season and replace him next year if needed. A versatile off-ball linebacker, he’ll wreak havoc in the pass rush game for the Titans for years to come. |
||||
2 | Browns | Cam Ward | QB | Miami |
Aaron Rodgers or Kirk Cousins could still be options, but it’s looking less likely. Unless they feel like Kenny Pickett could be the guy, it may be time to spin that quarterback wheel in Cleveland once again. As the process has gone on, Ward looks more and more like the top quarterback prospect. |
||||
3 | Giants | Travis Hunter | WR/CB | Colorado |
After signing both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in free agency, I don’t see the Giants going quarterback anymore. With a generational talent on the board here, he is too good to pass up. He’ll likely play defensive back but could make an impact on offense as well, imagine him running opposite of Malik Nabers. |
||||
4 | Patriots | Tetairoa McMillian | WR | Arizona |
Another one I’m sticking with my pick from Mock 1.0. This is a great spot for the Patriots to address getting a weapon for their young stud quarterback in Drake Maye. They addressed the offensive line in free agency and brought in Stefon Diggs. Now you bring in McMillian, who is a big 6’ 5” wide receiver from Arizona who can play outside and catch the contested ball but also has the athletic ability to play in the slot. |
||||
5 | Jaguars | Mason Graham | DT | Michigan |
The Jaguars need help on the interior of their defense, and they are getting a good one here. With Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen on either side of him, Graham could dominate the middle of this defensive line. |
||||
6 | Raiders | Ashton Jeanty | RB | Boise State |
This is just seeming to make more and more sense the closer we get to the Draft. Pete Carroll wants to win now, and he loves to run the ball. The Raiders running back room well, it stinks. Grabbing a plug and play stud to slide right in just makes sense. |
||||
7 | Jets | Will Campbell | OT | LSU |
You paid Justin Fields, now please give my man some protection. If Fields gets some time to make plays and get the ball to Garrett Wilson, he may be able to stick around the league as a starter. Let’s protect him with the man who only allowed two sacks in 2024 in the SEC. |
||||
8 | Panthers | Jalon Walker | ED | Georgia |
The Panthers gave up the most points in the NFL since 1981 in 2024. It looks like Bryce Young has earned himself another year as the team's starter, and now they need to start to shore up this defense. Walker is perfect for the team's 3-4 scheme. |
||||
9 | Saints | Will Johnson | CB | Michigan |
The Saints' defense needs some big-time help, and while their new Head Coach Kellen Moore is an offensive guy, he just saw how a strong young defensive backfield can help carry you to a Super Bowl victory. His toe injury may have dropped him on some boards, but I believe Johnson is the best corner in this draft. |
||||
10 | Bears | Omarion Hampton | RB | UNC |
Running backs keep creeping up the board. They’ve got their quarterback, they’ve rebuilt the offensive line already, this is the deepest running back in years and you have a chance to grab the second best one early instead of scrambling later? It might not be a popular pick, but he’s electric as a runner and receiver and would fit well with Ben Johnson and this team. |
||||
11 | 49ers | Armand Membou | OT/G | Missouri |
The 49ers list of needs keeps getting longer and longer. But as they prepare to lock down Brock Purdy long term, let’s give him some protection with a versatile player who can play tackle or guard and has a lot of college starts under his belt. |
||||
12 | Cowboys | Mykel Williams | Edge/LB | Georgia |
With Shedeur sliding, this could be an interesting spot if the Cowboys want to move on from Dak Prescott. However, I have them going defense here. Putting Williams opposite Micha Parson to chase quarterbacks instantly strengthens this defense. |
||||
13 | Dolphins | Malaki Starks | S | Georgia |
Jevon Holland is out of Miami and the Dolphins need some help on the back end. Starks is a sure tackler who’s just as good at stopping the run game as he is the pass game. Even if Holland returns to the team, Starks could plug and play anywhere in the secondary. |
||||
14 | Colts | Tyler Warren | TE | Penn State |
This is an endorsement of Anthony Richardson. Push all the chips in on this young quarterback. He’s shown some of the tools, but he's just been inconsistent. He’s got Pittman, Downs, and Taylor at running back. Let’s give him the top tight end in the draft. A big 6’ 6” 257 lbs target to throw the ball to that has great hands. Another tool for Richardson to prove he’s the guy or not the guy. |
||||
15 | Falcons | Jihaad Campbell | LB | Alabama |
The Falcons only have five picks in the draft at this point in time. They need to hit on the picks they do have and they need to address defense. Lenore Floyd was a good signing in free agency they need to think long term. Campbell could fit perfectly in the 3-4 defense here. | ||||
16 | Cardinals | Mike Green | ED | Marshall |
The Cardinals lacked getting pressure on the quarterback in 2024, ranking 26th in pressure rate. Green led the nation in sacks with 17 for Marshall last year. He can immediately bolster a pass rush that needs it badly. |
||||
17 | Bengals | Walter Nolen | DT | Ole Miss |
Few things were as clear for the Bengals last year as their defense needs help. They’ve brought in a new defensive coordinator, and that’s where their top focus needs to be in this draft. Nolen has all the traits you want in a DT, now he just needs to execute. If he hits the level he’s capable of, this is a big get for the Bengals. |
||||
18 | Seahawks | Josh Simmons | OT | Ohio State |
Seattle keeps trying to fix their offensive line through the draft, and it’s not gone well over the last few years. They have to address this position group once again though. After spending big to bring in Sam Darnold, he’s going to need protection. Simmons is recovering from an injury but proved to be a consistent player when he was on the field. He’ll be a great asset to give Sam more time in the pocket. |
||||
19 | Buccaneers | Jahde Barron | CB | Texas |
Barron has been rising up the boards after a stellar 2024 season for the Longhorns. He topped it off with an impressive 4.39 40-yard dash as part of his impressive combine. Tampa’s defense had just seven interceptions last year and Zyon McCollum only has a year left on his deal. |
||||
20 | Broncos | Emeka Egbuka | WR | Ohio State |
In my last mock I had Ashton Jeanty slide to the Broncos here, but now there are two running backs gone in this version at pick 20. So they turn their attention to wide receiver. The 6’1”, 205 lbs Egubka would slide right into this offense and be a great weapon for a promising Bo Nix. |
||||
21 | Steelers | Shedeur Sanders | QB | Colorado |
Aaron Rodgers (weird spot to bring him up), Brady Quinn, we’ve seen quarterbacks slide down the first round before. Sanders could still go as high as the first pick, and he’s hard to get a read on. So at 21 the slide stops and the Steelers get their guy of the future. Sanders could start day 1 if he’s the only option. Or, he learns behind an Aaron Rodgers who knows all about sliding in the draft and waiting to start. |
||||
22 | Chargers | Colston Loveland | TE | Michigan |
Jim Harbaugh will be licking his lips if his former tight end is available for his new team to snag at pick 22. Loveland is a strong receiver but isn’t afraid to block and get dirty when he needs to. He’s the perfect addition for Justin Herbert and company. |
||||
23 | Packers | Kelvin Banks Jr | OT | Texas |
Banks is an experienced offensive line starter. He made 42-starts for the Longhorns in college. The Packers have locked down Jordan Love long-term and have a strong running game with Josh Jacobs. Extra protection up front with Rasheed Walker's contract coming up would be a move. | ||||
24 | Vikings | Derrick Harmon | DT | Oregon |
The Vikings could really use some interior pass rush help. Harmon is a versatile player who can plug up the middle and move around on the line to get pressure on the quarterback. |
||||
25 | Texans | Luther Burden III | WR | Missouri |
After the injury to Tank Dell, the team is going to have to replace him. If Luther Burden is still on the board here it seems like a great fit. His ability to make plays after the catch is his most attractive quality, and the Texans have a quarterback who can get him the ball. |
||||
26 | Rams | Azareye’h Thomas | CB | FSU |
The Rams could look at Jaxson Dart here if they want to make a plan for the post Matthew Stafford era at quarterback, but I see them addressing the defensive backfield here. They’d reunite Thomas with college teammates Jared Verse and Braden Fiske who they drafted last year and both had great results. |
||||
27 | Ravens | Tyler Booker | G | Alabama |
The Ravens' lost both Ronnie Stanley and Patrick Mekari in free agency this year. Booker is a true guard but showed the ability to pop out and play tackle at Alabama when needed. Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry need a strong offensive line to protect them, and it doesn’t get much stronger than Booker. | ||||
28 | Lions | James Pearce Jr | ED | Tennessee |
The Lions offense looks pretty set, and they need to address the defensive side of the ball, specifically the pass rush. Pearce who shows a ton of speed off the edge. He’ll be able to be the disruptor the Lions need alongside Aiden Hutchinson. | ||||
29 | Commanders | Aireonte Ersery | OT | Minnesota |
The Commanders struck gold last year and scored big with Jayden Daniels, who led the team to the NFC Championship game last season. Their number one priority this off-season should be to shore up their offensive line and protect the future. Ersery has 39 career starts under his belt and has both power and speed at the tackle position. | ||||
30 | Bills | Trey Amos | CB | Ole Miss |
The Bills would be happy to see Amos still on the board here at 30. Amos has a knack for adjusting to the ball. He’s got the skills to be the long term answer for the Bills at CB1. |
||||
31 | Chiefs | Josh Conerly Jr | OT | Oregon |
Did anyone else watch the Super Bowl? The Chiefs must do something about their offensive line to protect Patrick Mahomes and keep another embarrassing loss like that from happening. Conerly could be that answer to help keep Mahomes on his feet and doing Mahomes things. |
||||
32 | Eagles | Shemar Stewart | ED | Texas A&M |
The Champs will absolutely love it if Stewart is still on the board for them at pick 32. Josh Sweat and Zack Braun are headed for free agency, and the Eagles have been money selecting defensive lineman in the draft lately. This is a no brainer for the Eagles. |
Round 2
The second round sees the Titans quarterback patient pay off and they get their guy. The Broncos grab the running back of the future as the Eagles roll the dice with a luxury pick and grab themselves the running back of the future.
33 | Browns | Kyle Kennard | ED | South Carolina |
---|---|---|---|---|
Myles Garrett stayed with the team but they still lack depth at the position. This will help. | ||||
34 | Giants | Emory Jones Jr | OT | LSU |
The Giants answered the quarterback spot in the first round with Sanders. Now it’s time to protect him. | ||||
35 | Titans | Jaxson Dart | QB | Ole Miss |
This fell perfect for the Titans. They get the stud in Carter at #1, and still bring in a quarterback to compete with Will Levis. | ||||
36 | Jaguars | Nick Emmanwori. | S | South Carolina |
Defense in round one, and again in round 2. The Jaguars address a position of need. | ||||
37 | Raiders | Matthew Golden | WR | Texas |
The Raiders load up for that Chip Kelly offense with a deep play threat. | ||||
38 | Patriots | Donavan Jackson | OT/G | Ohio State |
More protection for second-year quarterback Drake Maye, Jackson can move around the line where needed. | ||||
39 | Bears | Demetrius Knight Jr | LB | South Carolina |
The Bears have a need at linebacker, they fill it with an older, experienced rookie here. | ||||
40 | Saints | Tyler Shough | QB | Louisville |
It’s still Derek Carr for now, but I don’t think anyone would be surprised to see the Saints grab a backup plan. |
||||
41 | Bears | Jonah Savaiinaea | G | Arizona |
The Bears did a lot in free agency to address the offensive line woes, with a plethora of early picks this is a great spot to grab more help. | ||||
42 | Jets | Kenneth Grant | DT | Michigan |
If Grant slides this far he’s a great pick for the Jets who could use some help up the middle of their defense. | ||||
43 | 49ers | Shavon Revel Jr | CB | East Carolina |
It’s best available for San Francisco right here, they’ve got needs just about everywhere. |
||||
44 | Cowboys | Tre Harris | WR | Ole Miss |
They need a strong possession wide receiver to pair up with Ceedee Lamb and give Dak Prescott a boost. |
||||
45 | Colts | Grey Zabel | G/C | North Carolina |
They are investing in Anthony Richardson for another season, let’s protect him up front. Will Fries is out, Zabel in. | ||||
46 | Falcons | Nick Emmanwori | S | South Carolina |
With Emmanwori still on the board it’s too good for the Falcons to pass up on as they’ll probably go mostly defense in this years draft. |
||||
47 | Cardinals | Jaylin Noel | WR | Iowa State |
Time to add a running mate for Marvin Harrison and another weapon for Kyler Murray. The 5’11 Noel ran a 4.39 40-time at the combine. |
||||
48 | Dolphins | Hollins Pierce | OT | Rutgers |
The Dolphins need to beef up their offensive line and Terron Armstead may still retire, if he doesn’t this year he will soon. | ||||
49 | Bengals | Donavan Ezeiruku | ED | Boston College |
Defense, defense, defense. That should be the main focus of the Bengals entire draft. Ezeiruku would go great across from Hendrickson. | ||||
50 | Seahawks | Maxwell Harriston | CB | Kentucky |
Devon Witherspoon is the only corner signed long term for this team, they can address this need with Harristron. | ||||
51 | Broncos | TreVeyon Henderson | RB | Ohio State |
The Broncos stick to building their offense this time addressing running back with the nation champion from Ohio State. | ||||
52 | Steelers | Tate Rutledge | G | Georgia |
Seattle is back on the clock quickly. They need help on the interior offense line as well, a lot of protection for Sam Darnold after Simmons in the first. | ||||
53 | Buccaneers | Nic Scourton | ED | Texas A&M |
Scourton is a physical edge who can wreak havoc on all three downs. Lavonte David and the Bucs defense is aging, this will bring some much needed youth to the pass rush. | ||||
54 | Packers | Benjamin Morris | CB | Notre Dame |
The Packers get a smooth athlete with great short arena quickness. With the end of Jaire Alexander’s time nearing it’s time to look ahead at the position. | ||||
55 | Chargers | Tyleik Williams | DT | Ohio State |
Running back was tempting to look at here, but the Chargers need some life in the middle of their defense. | ||||
56 | Bills | Xavier Watts | S | Notre Dame |
The Bills go all in on the defensive backfield with the crust two picks grabbing a corner and now a safety. | ||||
57 | Panthers | Alfred Collins | DT | Texas |
More defense for the Panthers in Round 2 to address the defense that was last in both yards allowed and points allowed in 2024. |
||||
58 | Texans | Wyatt Milum | OT | West Virginia |
They got CJ Stroud a new receiver, in the first round. Now let’s give him time to throw the ball to Luther Burden III. | ||||
59 | Ravens | Ty Robinson | DT | Nebraska |
The big man from Nebraska will fill a big hole in the middle of the Ravens defense. Robinson stands 6-5 and weighs 288 lbs. |
||||
60 | Lions | Jared Wilson | C | Georgia |
Wilson is the perfect fit for the Lions. They need held at guard with Kevin Zeitler leaving, and need to think about the future at center. |
||||
61 | Commanders | Princely Umanmielen | ED | Ole Miss |
Offensive line in Round 1, now it’s over to the defensive line for the Commanders. | ||||
62 | Bills | Darius Alexander | DT | Toledo |
The Bills already addressed cornerback and safety, they’ll continue to improve their defense and its many holes by plugging a big one up the middle. |
||||
63 | Chiefs | Jared Wilson | S | Texas |
After grabbing a tackle in the first, the Chiefs need to replace safety Justin Reid who now plays for the Saints. | ||||
64 | Eagles | Quinshon Judkin | RB | Ohio State |
This is a bit of a luxury pick, but think about it. They put a lot of mileage on Barkley this season. This gives them a solid player to spell him with and sets them up for a potential future running back. It’s a win-win for a team that loves to run the ball. |
2025 NFL Draft: 3-Round Mock Draft 2.0 – Cody Zeeb
Round 3
The third round sees the Chiefs also go running back, looking to supplement their backfield that struggled in 2024 with injury and replacements. The Giants and Rams both grab quarterbacks who won’t have to start right away.
65 | Giants | Quinn Ewers | QB | Texas |
---|---|---|---|---|
66 | Chiefs | TJ Sanders | DT | South Carolina |
67 | " Browns | Kaleb Johnson | RB | Iowa |
68 | Raiders | Jack Sawyer | ED | Ohio State |
