Ares FC Featherweight Title Fight: Josh O’Connor vs Azize Hlali
Card Start Time: Saturday (1/18), 1:00pm EST (UFC Fight Pass)
It might seem crazy to get in on a 5-to-1 who has only fought professionally twice, but styles make fights. So hear me out on this one.
Hlali is not some random newbie to combat sports with no experience. He is a talented kickboxer who has shown insane amounts of power. He has hit some counters that have absolutely slept opponents in kickboxing, but also in his few MMA fights.
He’ll fight O’Connor, who is sort of one dimensional in his own right. He has a bit of hands, but heavily relies on his grappling game to get it done. Every fight starts on the feet and it’ll only take one for him to take a nap. If he does, we’ll cash at an absurdly high number here.
