Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills Preview and Predictions

The game of the week wraps up the weekend as the Baltimore Ravens head to Orchard Park, New York to take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday evening. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET with the game to air on CBS. Jim Nance and Tony Romo will bring this AFC Heavyweight matchup to you with a trip to the AFC Championship game on the line. Let’s take a look at this Ravens-Bills preview and predictions.

The Ravens finished the season 12-5 winning the AFC North and snagging the #3 seed in the AFC. They took their division rival Pittsburgh Steelers to the woodshed in Wild Card Weekend winning by a score of 28-14. Zay Flowers didn’t practice yet again on Wednesday and looks unlikely to play for the Ravens on Sunday. When these teams matched up in Week 4 the Ravens won by a score of 35-10.

The Buffalo Bills at 13-4 won the AFC East in convincing fashion and picked up the #2 overall seed in the conference. They had their own beat down in Wild Card Weekend putting the Denver Broncos down 31-7. Ray Davis is the biggest question mark on the Bills injury report. He was limited on Wednesday, a good sign he may clear concussion protocol by Sunday.

Isiah Likely Over 34.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

This was my favorite prop of Wild Card Weekend last week and it hit as likely had three catches on four targets for 53 yards. The reason I liked it so much last week was with the absence of Zay Flowers, Likely would become a go-to guy underneath. As it looks like Flowers will once again miss, let’s run it back.

Likely has gone over this number in four of the Ravens’ last eight games. He can also step up when needed most. Like in the season opener against the Chiefs where he had 111 yards on nine catches and was a toe on the line away from catching the game-winner. I’m riding the Likely ladder all the way to 90+ yards at 10/1 this week.

Baltimore Ravens +1 (-120)

When these teams met back in Week 4 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore it was all Ravens. Now it shifts to Buffalo and everything is on the line. This won’t be an easy game for the Ravens and I don’t expect anything close to what we saw in Werk 4.

The Ravens however are just the better team. They’ve already whooped this team and held games close against the Chiefs and Eagles. They’ve beat down bad teams and are a solid team all around with great coaching from John Harbaugh. Harbaugh is first all-time in road playoff wins (7), and seventh all-time in playoff wins overall (13).

Buffalo has been a good team as they always are, but when it comes to the playoffs. That’s where they struggle the most. McDermott is just 6-6 in the playoffs, most of those wins coming against the easier first-round opponents. He did beat the Ravens in 2021 in the divisional round but lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. It’ll be a tough hard-fought game, but the Ravens move on at the end of the day.
