The NFL’s Super Wild Card Weekend continues tomorrow with three games – the final AFC Wild Card Playoff game, and two NFC ones. For my best bet for Sunday, January 12th: NFL Predictions, I’m zeroing in on the AFC matchup, which is being played in Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium (I wanted to say ‘freezing’, but it’s not going to be too cold tomorrow, relatively speaking).

Denver Broncos vs Buffalo Bills

The Denver Broncos shocked the football world this season behind rookie quarterback Bo Nix, almost doubling the 5.5 wins they were projected for heading into the season (they finished 10-7). The advanced stats love them too, currently ranking them as the sixth-best team in the league.
The Broncos will face a Buffalo Bills team that even exceeded the high expectations placed on them heading into the year, by winning 13 games. However, they have a playoff monkey on their back (as this franchise always has), having lost in the divisional round the past three years.
I think Buffalo will make it back to that round (at least) again this year, but I like Denver to cover for us tomorrow. After crunching the numbers, I have this game lined up as Buffalo – 5, so the value is on the Denver side of the spread.
