I’m a numbers guy, so I normally lean on advanced stats to pick winners for the games I bet on (and it’s worked out pretty well). But I’m going against that with my pick for the Ottawa Senators vs the Detroit Red Wings game tomorrow night.
Ottawa is the better team, but they’re missing their star goalie and are slumping as a result. And Detroit is on fire, winning four straight. I’ll go with the home dog – Detroit – as the first half of my parlay.
For the final half of this winning Same Game Parlay, give me over 5.5 goals for the final score. Ottawa can’t score to save their lives and doesn’t let in many goals. However, with Linus Ullmark injured and not between the pipes, more pucks have been finding the back of the net. And Detroit games have been over 5.5 goals in the last five and nine of the past 10.
