The first of Christmas Day games in NFL history features the Baltimore Ravens visiting the Houston Texans. Ravens are coming off an impressive victory against the Steelers to stay in contention for the AFC North. Meanwhile, the Texans lose wide receiver Tank Dell to a devastating knee injury which will sideline him for the remaining of the season. A big matchup on Christmas Day for playoff seeding. Below are my Ravens at Texans Preview and Predictions.

As I mentioned above, the Texans will be thin at the wide receiver position. The Texans already lost Stefon Diggs to a torn ACL and now will without Tank Dell who suffered a discolated kneecap along with a torn ACL. Two offensive linemen are questionable for this game for the Texans in Shaq Mason and Juice Scruggs. The Texans did claim former Steelers/Panthers/Ravens wide receiver Diontae Johnson to add depth but I do not expect much from him in this game.
On the other side, the Ravens come into this game possibly missing some players on offense. Justice Hill and Nelson Aghlor are in the concussion protocol and Zay Flowers is dealing with a shoulder injury. We’ll keep an eye on the latest injury report and the status of those players for this game.
Ravens at Texans Preview and Predictions
Best Bets
The Houston Texans could be out for some revenge in this game as CJ Stroud suffered his first career loss against the Ravens in Week 1 of his rookie season. However, this season, the Ravens are 5-3 SU and ATS on the road and a profitable 7-1 to the Over. The lone game that did go Under the total was the game against the Steelers.
Meanwhile, the Texans at home under DeMeco Ryans are 12-5 SU and 8-8-1 ATS. In situations where they are home underdogs, the Texans are 3-2 ATS in the span. I do expect to see points in this game. I believe the Texans will have a pass-heavy approach because the Ravens are one of the best teams against the run. The Texans will have a spirited effort in this game and I am sure Tank Dell will be on the minds of the team especially quarterback Stroud.
Best Bet: Texans +5.5 and Over 46.5
Player Prop Best Bet
Dalton Schultz Over 35.5 Receiving Yards
The Baltimore Ravens are one of the few teams this season allowing the best receiving yards to the tight end position. In fact, the Ravens are allowing 58.7 receiving yards per game on an average of 5.5 receptions. As I mentioned above, the Texans are going to be thin at the wide receivier position and need Schultz to step up. In Week 16, Schultz faced the Chiefs who are allowing the most receiving yards to the tight end. In that game, Schultz finished with 45 yards. I like him to repeat that performance this week.
