The Dallas Cowboys head to Charlotte to take on the Panthers. Bryce Young has been playing well since he returned as the starting quarterback for the Panthers. The Cowboys come into this game on a short week coming off the Monday Night Football loss to the Bengals in Week 15. Below are the Cowboys at Panthers Preview and Predictions.
The Dallas Cowboys lost their up-and-coming linebacker Marshawn Overshown to a devastating knee injury that will be more than likely keep him sidelined through next season. In a season where the Cowboys already lost Dak Prescott, there are more questions than answers right now for the Cowboys.
Meanwhile, Bryce Young has come into his own since returning as the starting quarterback for the Panthers. On the injury side, the Panthers have questionable tags on Jadevon Clowney, Jaycee Horn, and Josey Jewell. This is the first time the Panthers are favored in a game since 2022!

Best Bets
As I mentioned above, there’s a reason why the books have the Panthers favored in this game. Let’s not get it twisted, the Panthers are playing good football but just has not translated to wins. The Panthers were an Xavier Legette reception away from possibly upsetting the Eagles. However, the Cowboys are on a short week and are coming off a gut-wrenching loss to the Bengals.
With the injuries mounting for the Cowboys coming off a short week and having to travel on the road, I like the Panthers to not only win the game but cover the spread! Hold your nose and bet on the Panthers!

Bryce Young Over 13.5 Rushing Yards
The brief time Bryce Young paid huge dividends in my opinion. Young has been playing well and you can see the confidence growing as each game passes. One thing that Young has added to his game is the ability to scramble and it has shown up in the box score. In fact, Young has 17+ rushing yards in four straight games. Thus far this season, the Cowboys are allowing quarterbacks to rush for 31.92 yards per game. I would expect Young to continue to take the opportunities to run with the football.
