College Basketball Picks December 4
UConn -3.5 vs. Baylor
UConn did not have a good showing in Maui, losing to Memphis, Colorado, and Dayton. This was, by far, the Huskies’ worst stretch of the last three seasons. In terms of Vegas power ratings, I don’t think you will get them at a lower point than they are right now. Alex Karaban is also out for this game with a head injury.
If I know anything about Dan Hurley, it’s that he’ll make sure his team is ready the next time they play a quality opponent. It just so happens to be a well-coached Baylor squad that can rival the Huskies offensively. In my opinion, this game is going to come down to defense, and I think the struggling UConn defense will look much improved at home.
