Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos Preview and Predictions

Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos Preview and PredictionsNFL Week 13 wraps up on Monday Night Football with an AFC matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos. Two teams that are going in opposite directions as the Broncos are vying for a playoff spot. Meanwhile, the Browns have turned to Jameis Winston who has been filling in nicely for the injured Deshaun Watson. Below are the previews and predictions for the Browns at Broncos.

Bo Nix has entered the Offensive Rookie of the Year conversation because of his recent play for the Broncos. Do the Broncos have their quarterback of the future? Absolutely. Despite not having a consistent rushing attack for the Broncos, they find themselves in the Wild Card picture in the AFC.

Meanwhile, the Browns’ defense derailed quickly after a very slow start for Deshaun Watson. The Broncos come into this game healthy but it is a different story for the Browns. Cornerback Greg Newsome III has been a limited participant all week and both Cedrick Tillman and Geoff Swaim are dealing with concussions. Additionally, tackle Jedrick Willis has not practiced all week for the Browns.

Best Bets

As I mentioned above, the Browns are coming off a mini-bye week. They won the snow game at home against the Steelers. Who’s on deck next week? The Steelers. Going into altitude is going to be a tall order for the Browns, but at this point of the week, I believe the value is on the Browns. The Broncos have struggled to find consistency in the running game. However, Bo Nix has been able to cover up the lack of a running game with his passing game.

Despite, being 3-0 this season SU and ATS as a home favorite, the competition hasn’t been great. The Broncos have faced, the Panthers, Raiders, and Falcons at home. With the public all over the Broncos in this game, I will go contrarian and take the points with the Browns.

Best Bet: Browns +6.5

Courtland Sutton Over 5.5 Receptions

Since Courtland Sutton laid a goose egg on Thursday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints in Week 7, Sutton is back to his usual production. In fact, in the five games since Week 7, Sutton has at least six catches in all five games. Furthermore, Sutton has 48 targets in that span. Bo Nix and Sutton continue to build the chemistry as the weeks progress, I like Sutton to have another big game.
