Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs Preview and Predictions

Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs Preview and Predictions

A special “Black Friday” game after Thanksgiving between two AFC West teams. The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders in this game. We all know the Kermit The Frog bit during the Raiders training camp impersonating Patrick Mahomes. Yes, these two teams did match up in Vegas and the Chiefs won the game. Will the Chiefs be able to blow out the Raiders or will the Raiders keep it close or potentially win the game? Below are my Raiders at Chiefs Preview and Predictions.

The Kansas City Chiefs will see the return of Isaiah Pacheco this week after being on the IR over the past month plus with an injury. However, he gives this Chiefs backfield a big boost alongside Kareem Hunt. On the Raiders side, the big injury news is the change quarterback. Gardner Minshew will miss the rest of the season with a collarbone injury. Aidan O’Connell returns as the starter for the Raiders.

Historically, the Raiders have played well in Arrowhead Stadium. Last season, the Raiders went into Kansas City and won the game outright. We also remember the Kermit The Frog bit from the Raiders. Will Mahomes look to pour it on against the Raiders? Mahomes did mention he wants to be involved in games where it doesn’t come down the wire. This week seems like a prime opportunity for the Chiefs to flex their muscles.

Raiders at Chiefs Preview and Predictions

Best Bets

I’ve mentioned this plenty of times this season when I have handicapped the Kansas City Chiefs and it’s not laying big numbers. BUT this is a game I believe Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have circled after what has transpired with this team. The Raiders went into Arrowhead last year and won the game. The Raiders treated the victory as if they won the Super Bowl.

As I mentioned above, the Raiders will start Aidan O’Connell in this game after the season-ending injury to Minshew. Yes, the Chiefs are winning games and not covering numbers. But I think this is the ultimate get-up spot for the Chiefs and I believe they will be ultra-motivated in this game. Mahomes in so many words said (and I’m paraphrasing) that he wants to be involved in games where there are blowouts and not having to win in walk-off fashion. I am going to lay the points and bank on the offense to score points!

Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown +120

Travis Kelce is one touchdown away from breaking the franchise record for touchdown receptions. What better way to do that than against the Las Vegas Raiders? The Raiders defense has struggled against the tight end position over the last four weeks. Earlier this season, Kelce torched the Raiders for 10 receptions on 90 receiving yards and more importantly a touchdown. I believe Kelce gets it done in this game for the Chiefs.
