College Basketball Picks November 18
McNeese -4.5 vs. North Texas
Last year’s historic season for McNeese was capped off by a 16-0 record at home. In 2024, the Cowboys haven’t got off to the start they wanted, although they played Alabama tough until the final whistle. On Monday, the Cowboys face the North Texas Green Machine and are 4.5-point favorites at home.
McNeese, led by former LSU coach Will Wade, pushes the tempo of offense yet has not hit their stride in 2024. Providence transfer Alyn Parker looks like a dominant scorer through the first two games of his Cowboy career. McNeese also has three other players averaging double-figures in Sincere Parker, Javohn Garcia, and Christian Shumate. They need to shoot the ball better from deep as a team, and I think they do in this spot.
