Once again I’m turning to the NFL to get me back on the winning track, as I’ve hit a rut with my 55 straight days of football best bets. For my best bet for Thursday, November 14th: NFL Predictions, we’re checking out a Thursday Night Football matchup between the two best teams in the NFC East. Off to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, we go.
Best Bet For Thursday (November 14th): NFL Predictions
Washington Commanders vs Philadelphia Eagles
Start Time – 8:15 PM EST
Unfortunately for my best bet, the books have the spread for the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles matchup tomorrow lined up correctly. I have it around Philadelphia -2, but since I have to make a football best bet every day (and the total is lined up correctly too, in my eyes), I’m going with Washington +3.5
These two teams aren’t just neck and neck in the NFC East standings (the Eagles are 7-2; the Commanders are 7-3), but they are almost equal in the power rankings as well. If you take out the 2.5-point advantage you give to teams playing at home, the Eagles would only be favored here by 0.2 points. This is a close game, but the Commanders have won three of their last four on the road, and I think they can at the least keep it within a field goal and cover for us.
