Jacksonville Jaguars at Philadelphia Eagles Preview and Predictions

A non-conference matchup takes place in Philadelphia this week. The Jacksonville Jaguars looks to pull off an upset victory against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jaguars have underperformed this season behind a lack of quarterback play from Trevor Lawerence. Meanwhile, the Eagles are fully healthy especially on the offensive side of the football. Below are my Jaguars at Eagles Preview and Predictions.

Despite the Eagles getting A.J Brown and DeVonta Smith back on offense, Dallas Goedert and Darius Slay will miss this week against the Jaguars. Meanwhile, the Jaguars have several questionable tags including Tank Bigsby, Gabe Davis, Travis Etienne Jr., and Brian Thomas Jr. Additionally, the Jaguars will be without Christian Kirk in this game.

The Jaguars are winless on the road thus far this season however are 2-1 ATS. There are several questions surrround the Jaguars this season after paying Trevor Lawerence this offseason. Several questions surround the future of Doug Pederson as the head coach of the Jaguars. The Eagles have won three straight games with two divsion games on deck.

Best Bets

With all the injuries the Jaguars are dealing with the offensive side, it may be too much to overcome in this game. With the top three weapons fully healthy in this game for the Eagles I believe Hurts will have a big games for the Eagles. Eagles are also a good teaser leg this week taking them down to -1.5

Since 2022, when the Eagles are home favorites, they are 16-4 SU (80%) and 11-8-1 ATS (57.9%). Furthermore, in the same span, if the game is a non-conference game, the Eagles are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS. With all the injuries the Jaguars are dealing with it could be hard to find offensive success in this game.

Best Bet: Eagles -7.5

Player Prop Best Bet

Jalen Hurts Over 213.5 Passing Yards

The Jaguars pass defense is struggling to stay the least thus far this season. In fact, the Eagles are allowing 281 passing yards per game. Only one quarterback has not gone over this projection which was Deshaun Watson in Week 2. With the receiving group healthy for the Eagles, expect Jalen Hurts to have a big day throwing the football.
