It’s been almost a month since the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix wrapped up with Lando Norris snagging his third win of the season. F1 returns this week as they make their second of three trips to the United States. Let’s take a look at the F1 United States Grand Prix odds and best bets.
The teams make their way to Austin, Texas for the first of four consecutive Grand Prix through North and South America. Circuit of the America’s (COTA) will play host to the 19th round of the world championship battle. They’ll take on the 3.426-mile 20-turn circuit that has hosted the US Grand Prix every year since 2012 except 2020.
McLaren is now squarely in control of the Constructors Championship title fight as they extended their newfound lead over Red Bull to 41 points. Lando Norris chipped away ever so slightly at Max Verstappen’s Driver’s Championship lead, cutting the difference to 52 points.
The United States Grand Prix is a sprint weekend, with the Sprint race taking place on Saturday, October 19th at 2:00 p.m. ET and offering a chance at bonus points. Sunday’s Grand Prix will take place at 3:00 p.m. ET and air on ESPN.

F1 United States Grand Prix Odds and Best Bets
Lando Norris to Win Sprint Race (+140)
Norris is minus money to win the Grand Prix, but checks in at +140 for Saturday’s sprint race. Norris has established himself lately as the fastest driver on the fastest team in the F1 paddock currently.
There’s not a lot of numbers or stats to look at, the last time there was a sprint race was clear back in June at the Austrian Grand Prix, right before the switch flipped off of Verstappen winning every race. This isn’t a long race with strategy and other things that can go wrong for Lando. As the name implies, it truly is a sprint. Take the fastest car, and get the win. That’s the thought behind taking this bet.
Lewis Hamilton Podium Finish in Grand Prix (+500)
Lewis Hamilton has been a big fan of the United States Grand Prix over the past three races. Last season he finished the race in second place, before being disqualified in post race inspection due to “excessive plank wear.”
In 2022 Hamilton finished this race in second place and you guessed it, in the 2021 running he also finished in second place. All three races were won by Max Verstappen. Hamilton has six wins in the United States Grand Prix, five of them on this circuit.
This season, Hamilton has finished in the top five in six of the last 10 Grand Prix races, landing on the podium four times in those last 10, winning twice. Coming off a long break at a track he loves, especially at this juicy of a number on FanDuel. Hamilton is too good to pass up on Sunday.
Oscar Piastri to Win Grand Prix (+500)
As mentioned earlier, McLaren is the best team on the grid right now. One of their driver’s odds are -110, and the other is 5/1. We all know Lando is clearly the number one driver at McLaren, but Oscar is his 1A. I’ve seen enough from Piastri this season to trust betting on him at this good of a number.
Over the last eight races, Piastri hasn’t finished worse than fourth place. He’s in the fight each and every race. In six of those races, he finished on the podium, winning both the Hungarian and Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Give me the best team on the grid, with a driver who’s proven he can win multiple times, and is in the mix every week at this number.
