Pre-season testing is only a month away, and we’re only about a month and a half away from the 2025 F1 season. Last year was the first time in two years that the Constructors’ title went to someone other than Red Bull. Heading into the 2025 season, the title fight feels more open to start the season than we’ve seen in a long time. Let’s take a look at this 2025 af1 Constructors’ Championship odds and best bets.
McLaren pulled the upset in the title fight in 2024 after Red Bull opened the year with a massive lead, the Papyas slowly chipped away and took over. Red Bull claimed the title in both 2022 and 2023. Before that, Mercedes won eight straight Constructors’ titles from 2014-2021.

2025 F1 Constructors’ Championship Odds and Best Bets
Ferrari +120
Ferrari checks in as the favorites for the 2025 title. They have 16 titles, the most of any Constructor in F1 history, but haven’t won since 2008. They are coming off a second-place finish in 2024, where they gave McLaren a run for their money at the end of the season with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
Charles Leclerc returns for another season with Ferrari, while Carlos Sainz has moved on to Williams for 2025. Replacing Sainz is 7-time champion, 105-time Grand Prix winner Lewis Hamilton. After spending his entire career in the Mercedes camp between McLaren and Mercedes, he’s taking his talents to Ferrari.
Hamilton has shown he still has the ability to perform with two wins in 2024. The question is, at this point in his career how much of an upgrade is he over Sainz, and can Ferrari continue to bring cars capable of competing with McLaren and Red Bull, enough to make them the favorites?
McLaren +130
The defending champions are just slightly longer odds than Ferrari, but basically check in as co-favorites on DraftKings. Depending on where you look, some books have them listed as the favorite. They made the big leap in 2025 to not only catch Red Bull but pass them and capture their first Constructors’ title since 1998. It was their ninth in history, tying them with Williams for second all-time.
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri both return to the team as they each look to build on 2024 success, both believing they have a shot at the Drivers Championship. Can they hold off a Ferrari whose addition of Lewis Hamilton could threaten that 14-point gap that McLaren won by in 2024.
Red Bull Racing +450
Max Verstappen won his fourth consecutive Driver’s World Championship title in 2024. Red Bull Racing opened the season as massive favorites to win their third consecutive Constructors’ Championship. Only to finish a very disappointing third in the title fight after losing their big lead in the race.
Max Verstappen wasn’t the Max of the past few years down the stretch but he still held up his end of the bargain. Sergio Perez however, did not. That led to Perez being bought out of his contract early following the 2024 season.
22-year-old New Zealander Liam Lawson takes over Perez’s vacated ride. He’ll play second fiddle to Verstappen at Red Bull. Can Lawson keep up enough to let Verstappen do most of the heavy lifting, and can Lawson contribute enough of his own to match the two-headed monsters in Ferrari and McLaren?
Mercedes +900
Mercedes is the last team worth mentioning for the Constructors title fight in 2025. They struggled to keep up with the big three in 2024 and now Lewis Hamilton has departed the team. They showed promise with a few wins in 2024. George Russell has the great opportunity to step up as the #1 guy at Mercedes now, and I think he’ll do just that.
His new running mate is 18-year-old Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The young Italian driver has shoes that are almost impossible to fill, replacing Hamilton. With as much firepower as Ferrari and McLaren are packing, then accounting for Red Bull with Verstappen, it’s a little shocking Mercedes odds are this short. They’ve got quite the uphill battle to compete in 2025 for the title.
Best Bet – Ferrari (+120)
It’s not always sexy to just bet on the favorite, and I will say the case for McLaren is just about as strong as the case for Ferrari. Pick your favorite between the two and rock with either. As I debated what might set one apart from the other for me. It came back to Lewis Hamilton‘s switch to Ferrari.
The opportunity for one of the all-time greats, to live out a boyhood dream of wearing this red fire suit.
I think the fire and rejuvenation we’re going to see to from Lewis this season is going to be noticeable right away. The opportunity to help return them to their glory and win their first title since 2008. Lewis breaking out is going to push Charles even harder, and the team was already right on McLaren’s heels last season. Ferrari returns to an ever-so-familiar place atop the paddock in 2025.
