Los Angeles Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers Preview and Predictions
The Chargers got the easy win against the joke of the league in the Carolina Panthers. The Chargers will be staying on the east coast in preparation for this matchup. There is no reason to go from LA to Charlotte to LA to Pittsburgh… Expect the Chargers “body clock” to be on par with the Steelers, and Harbaugh to have his guys ready.

Week by week, more and more people are believing in Justin Fields. The former 11th-overall pick showed flashes of brilliance but never figured it out as a Chicago Bear. It has only been two games, but he looks like a true Steelers QB. His style of play truly makes it feel like he belongs in this offense. At the end of the day, he is a gritty quarterback, which is exactly what the city of Pittsburgh wants.
Both of these teams have shown signs of success while having some holes that need to be filled ahead of this matchup.
Best Bets
Pittsburgh opens up as a two-point favorite with a very low total. 35.5 is one of the lower totals we will see all season. Usually, weather is a reason fot that but it should be one of the nicer days in Pittsburgh all year long. Clear skies and high 70’s may make these Chargers players feel like they are back in San Diego.
In week one, the Chargers offense looked really slow, but they pieced together a few more big plays in week two. They know that big plays will be tough to come by against this Steelers defense, which leads me to believe they will really take a slow and steady approach. Coach Harbaugh has no issue with pounding the rock and moving slowly. On the other hand, the Steelers will do the same thing. These two teams will take subtle and slow jabs all game long. Field position and special teams will be the difference makers in this game. In conclusion, this will be a rock fight with minimal plays run. Look for the Chargers and Steelers game to stay under the total.
